Bacon Street Lofts
Bacon Street Lofts in one residential building in the overall master plan of the Odell high density planned unit development in South Burlington. T.J. Boyle Associates provided preparation of site plan, planting and lighting plan. -
Staniford Farms
Staniford Farms is a proposed 32-unit planned residential developemnt in the new North End in Burlington, VT. This proposed housing design retains extensive natural features including wetland and forested areas. The site is conveniently located near the Burlington Bike path and within minutes of Lake Champlain. Over 20 units have the ability to be net zero in energy consumption. The project is in permitting and expected to be constructed next year. -
Charlotte Residence
T.J. Boyle and Associates prepared Master Plan and Construction Drawings for this lake shore residence. Plans include a pond, stone walls, gardens, terraces, steps, a pergola and rose arbor. -
Thayer Commons
T.J. Boyle Associates provided preparation of the site plan, planting and lighting plans for the 4-story residential building. This 47 unit building is located near an existing shopping plaza and is part of the city's intentions to create a high density development along North Avenue in Burlington. -
Wake Robin Lifecare Community
This 175-unit Continuing Care Retirement Community is a "vibrant non-profit life-care community" located in Shelburne, Vermont (www.wakerobin.com). TJBA provided preparation of master plan, site plans, grading, planting plans, and testimony on aesthetics through the permitting process, working drawings, and construction phase. -
Colchester Residence
T.J. Boyle and Associates prepared the Master Plan and Construction drawings. Plans included an entry sequence of a paved parking court and bluestone walkway with pergola and a 12 volt lighting system. Among the plantings are two perennial borders and a rose garden. Access to the water via a stairway is achieved by a deck system with Gabion retaining walls to stabilize the slope base at lake level. -
King Street Housing
T. J. Boyle Associates provided design services for the exterior hand rails and railings in this mixed-use project located in Burlington, Vermont. The design for surrounding landscaping and roof garden planters was also provided, as well as negotiation services with the adjacent neighbor. -
Shelburne Residence
T.J. Boyle Associates, LLC design for this traditional farmhouse included arrival courtyard, entry walkway, connection to guesthouse and forecourt, lighting, fencing and planting. Construction drawings were prepared including grading (earthwork), planting, and details for walkways and fencing. -
Briarwood Master Plan
T. J. Boyle Associates provided master planning and site design for this continuing care retirement community. Among the myriad of uses were 45 independent living cottages, 45 assisted living units in a skilled nursing facility, 100 apartments with a community center, and an interior courtyard. -
Whittle House
A Master Plan was prepared for this Vermont farmhouse, including elements such as the stone walk, gardens, pond and a grass paver parking court. This project was published in “Garden Design” magazine, September 1986 with text by Robin Karson. -
Windsor NAMCO Block
This historic brick building in downtown Windsor was renovated both inside and out. The current Section 8 housing will be re-configured and the new NAMCO building will be a combination of market rate and affordable housing. T. J. Boyle Associates worked closely as consultant to Gossens Bachman Architects to help affordably design and coordinate the site layout and landscape design. Also provided was exterior lighting design, planting design, parking layout, and fine grading.
