Visualization Study for Offshore North Carolina
T.J. Boyle Associates was awarded a contract by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management to prepare visualizations and facilitate public outreach events on the visual effect and public response to the potential for offshore wind turbines off the coast of North Carolina. The project involved assessments of multiple offshore wind generation projects, each with 200 potential wind turbines and six alternative scenarios, requiring the creation of over 234 photographic simulations, 54 animated or visual simulations and 21 immersive panoramic photomontages.
