Our Residential Landscape Master Plan package includes:

An initial two-hour consultation, during which we’ll listen to your ideas, objectives and needs for your space.

Next we’ll schedule a site survey and inventory detailing the location and size of existing buildings and other features on the site.  If the project will involve significant changes in grading, we will arrange for an engineering survey to be completed. This step will ensure contractors installing the plan will have the information they need.

Next, we’ll develop a conceptual design to give form to your vision, proposing solutions that combine your desires with the physical elements of the site.  This concept is a flexible, preliminary design that will allow us to clearly discuss the elements you would like to include in the final master plan contractors will use for installation. Once we are in agreement that the conceptual design clearly articulates your project vision, necessary details will be added to ensure its successful implementation.

The design development phase will then provide you with plans and construction documents – including a site plan, construction details and specifications for Hardscape elements, a grading plan, layout plan, and planting plan – needed for installation.

When you’re ready to proceed with construction, we can help you obtain bids from contractors, compare proposals, and phase the project as necessary. If requested, we’ll provide oversight of your project’s installation to ensure the design is implemented to your complete satisfaction.

Our designers work closely with clients to create a shared project vision, and then set design goals to achieve the plan. Regular contact between designer and client ensures each project’s smooth progression from preliminary discussion through final construction.
